DBSK Questionaire

allthingsgood posted in popfestfast this mini survey and I spent quite a while typing it…so I thought I’d just share my answers up on here too ^^

01) What do you wish DBSK did less of?
um…going international? Does that make sense? Like I loved DBSK when they simply did work in Korea and I still prefer the stuff that they do in Korea. When they’re in Japan, a lot of the time I don’t bother following up with their activities. I mean I’ll watch their performances since they’re guaranteed to be live but when they appear on Japanese shows I don’t get particularly excited about watching it. If you get me. And there are always rumours going around saying that SM will push DBSK to be the ‘leaders’ of the Asian music industry and that sounds great BUT I’m in no hurry for that to happen. I think deep down I worry that their popularity will go down and their status will be replaced in Korea just coz they focus too much on overseas activities. And since it was their Korean-ness that attracted me I would like them to keep to what they started off doing.

02) On the whole, what do you think of their UFO replies?
I love Changmin’s replies. I’m not being baised, I swear. I just like his bluntness and witty responses when it comes to replying to crazy fans with weird requests or that just say things that make me pull a face. Apart from Changmin’s I like the fanservice and the Jaeho-ness/Yoosu-ness that goes on BUT when it comes to responses like “let’s go eat together” I think … =.=” It’s mainly Yoochun and Jae (I think) that go for the crowd-pleasing responses..they’re cute once in a while but too many in a row makes me pull out hair.

03) What do you wish Yunho would stop doing when he’s on TV (Korea/Japan, doesn’t matter)? One thing you wish he did more of?
Sometimes I wish Yunho would kinda leave his ‘leader’ image behind and just go crazy. Like on Happy Together I enjoyed seeing a different side of him. Sometimes I compare Yunho to Leeteuk and I just think…how can they be so different!? I mean if you didn’t know I think you would not be able to tell that Leeteuk is the leader just coz he’s so outspoken and always gets picked on. But that’s always fun to watch! So yeah…if Yunho relaxed a bit more and maybe put off his competitive side a bit (one of the reasons why I didn’t enjoy EHB ep9 was coz it was too intense b/t him and Siwon).

04) Who do you think has the worst personal style?
Personal style…like as in fashion? I’m not sure :S N/A I guess

05) A song of theirs that you really don’t dig that much, but a song that everyone seems to love?
TOGETHER!! OMG That song gives me a headache but it did so well on the Oricon charts so the Jap fans definitely loved it o____o I remember going into the CD shop and ordering my Forever Love single then when I turned around the shelf had like 5 together CDs and they usually only have 3 or something. That was weird.

06) A song of theirs that nobody really likes, but something you’re quite fond of?
I’m not really sure what people don’t really like. Maybe miss you? Do people not like that song? Well I think my fondness for this song comes partially from the MV. The grey atmosphere of it all just made it more touching for me and the boys looked really good in that MV. Though I prefer the ballad version more.

07) You think fandom nowadays is quite _________ as compared to fandom from maybe half a year to a year ago? (Ie, the group’s activities are too much to handle? Too many fans becoming really annoying?)
I think fandom is still the same as half a year ago? But Korean fandoms in general scare me. Like the ELF protests I read about, I’m just like ‘go home and read books!!!’ lol. I think the amt of group activities is bad in the way that DBSK don’t seem to be able to rest. Sometimes I honestly prefer them to just stop working so that they can have some time to themselves and take a break from their hectic schedules. The amount of fans don’t annoy me. But what annoys me is when some of my friends pay me out about adoring DBSK only to fall into the trap themselves. And then they still continue to pay out Changmin!? Though I think that’s just my friends.

0 List/explain one pro & con for DBSK in Korea and for THSK in Japan.
Ha. This question kinda relates to my answer in the first Q, does it not?
Okay pro for Korea is that I love their stylists! Con would be I don’t understand Korean :S?? Haha but I’m learning! Pro for Japan would be theyre on a lot of Jap mags and Changmin is often more loved when it comes to female mags Con would be their Jap merchandise is SO expensive and don’t come with subs…not even chinese! Except for FITB ^^ Oh and also Korean variety shows are better…so pro for Korea and con for Jap!

09) What do you wish Junsu did more of?
I wish he composed more music and wrote more songs!!!!! I think the focus is always on Yoochun when it comes to making their own music but the thing is I LOVE Junsu’s music. White Lie is one of my all time favourite DBSK songs but it seems to be underappreciated? The lyrics actually made me cry and the melody itself was really touching. Kiss Shita Mama Sayonara was a great song but it was through the combined effort of Jae + Chun xD Haha..so yeah MORE MUSIC PLEASE!!! p.s Rainy Night is one of my fav Jap songs too ^^

10) What’s one thing about each member’s personality that kind of bother you? (Unless you find each of them to be amazingly perfect.)
Jae - I love how he always spills lil secrets about the group and just blurts everything out BUT at the same time sometimes his attention-seeking tactics annoy me…coz I don’t really like celebs that ask for the attention
Yunho - Like I mentioned before, I wish Yunho would put less pressure on himself when it comes to cultivating their image. Just relax and have a bit more fun and go crazy
Yoochun - Ever since forever I think Yoochun has appeared to me as the one with the biggest ego? Is that a little too harsh? I duno…but sometimes he mentions his popularity a bit too much. Eg in a bday prank on Changmin when fans sent in presents, Yoochun got the camera’s attention and showed them a prsent that was sent to him instead of the birthday boy and to this day I still don’t know why he had to do that on camera. Also in their house tour, he pointed out his presents from fans…and his expression was just too smug xD
Junsu - I honestly can’t think of any atm…maybe the way he gets pushed around? Lol I duno. Junsu is like me in the way that we’re the ones always getting picked on even if we’re not the youngest. So I empathise and I sympathise.
Changmin - He’s too shy!!!! Sometimes he’ll come out with the weirdest comments/expressions but yet he still doesn’t manage to stand out enough TO NOT GET CUT OFF SHOWS!!! Argh!

Um…so why does Australia not sell Korean magazines..!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

I wanted the Vogue issue with DBSK so badly…fortunately it was included in AADBSK2 - Disc5
I think that’s the clip I’ve watched the most because DBSK as Equestrians = HOT STUFF! And Changmin was so cute when the camera person asked something about the horse and he replied with “Maybe it’s his first time seeing me too”…such a witty answer

But back to ^ this clip…it’s the photoshoot SuJu (Donghae, Siwon, Leeteuk, Hankyung and Kibum) did for ELLE. Even though their hair in it took a bit of time to get used to…I could not deny the fact that they all looked HOT…except maybe Kibum’s lil mushroom head which I still havent gotten used to

They all look really pro and I’m glad Donghae was mostly standing in the center ^____^ Coz he’s not the tallest but in this shoot I think he’s easily the sexist

And his adam’s apple is really prominent…I LOVE! Coz I’ve developed a fetish for adam’s apples…weird I know.

One time I was in class and I was discussing DBSK with my friends who were only listening to me since they think I’m too spazzy…but anyway. I forgot exactly what we were talking about but I suddenly went (really loudly - but without meaning to…the class just went silent) ‘OMG Yoochun has the sexiest adam’s apple. I LOVE STARING AT IT!’ … then complete silence.

And of course the teacher just had to be in the room at that time and happened to be a male teacher. So I don’t think he’s ever been able to look at me the same way ever again. Especially after seeing the way I lunged at my friend’s folder to get a better look at Yoochun’s adam’s apple o____o

But I’m quite picky. The guy can’t be too skinny so that their adam’s apple just bulges out…but it has to be prominent in the way that they’re obviously a guy. Ha. I’m not making any sense here so I think I’ll just shush.
