To “C” or not to “C”

Okay, that is the lamest title I have EVER come up with…argh *scratches eyeballs out*

So, C stands for China.

What? You may say…

Well, actually. I have a confession to make:

I’m having mixed feelings about Super Junior China…

*insert very confused looking emoticon*

So exactly why am I confused?

On one hand, I was one of those people who rooted for ‘Only 13′ - but before you start thinking ‘boooooo’ let me justify my reasons (which I will do so later on). But at the same time I’m SUPER *pun not intended* pumped for the release of Super Junior China’s debut album!!!!

Okay, give me a few moments to gather my thoughts and attempt to write a clear, concise and coherent response. LOL *stupid economics ruberick*

Firstly, I’m sure it’s quite obvious (unless you’re an ANTI in which case you wouldn’t be reading my blog anyway) how much hard work and effort has gone into making SuJu the group they are today; and so why, all of a sudden, are new members thrown into this group to steal some of their glory and limelight when they, as of yet, have not contributed anything to the group?

Another is that SuJu are not supposed to be a ‘project group’ anymore. After the addition of Kyuhyun that was supposed to be it. Clearly it was a lie!! Or LSM just suddenly thought ‘hang on…there are more ways to make money flow into SM like crazy!!’ *calculates profit and loss* - loss: crazy ELFs may attack; profit: MONEY MONEY MONEY.

So in the end, he decided to either take back what he said or he simply forgot about he said. And it’s totally unfair because SuJu are already acknowledged as ‘the 13 member group’ and have even won awards. See, if SuJu were still ‘green’ and screaming ‘newbie in industry’, then fine, by all means, do what you can to improve the group. But it’s already gotten to a stage where the only way they can improve is up to themselves and not with the addition of members.

Also, as part of such a large group, there are obviously going to be some members more popular than others. Of course with their unique and fun personalities it is hard to not attract fans but this doesn’t mean that they have a fair share of popularity or love from everyone. So now I’m talking about the work that they get.

When SuJu appears on shows the camera takes about 10 minutes just panning across each member and when it comes to editing maybe only 5 members are shown? XD (Lol, IDK…I probably just lied, but please, bare with me). And so by adding members, each gets even more limited air time or maybe even ‘projects’ because the work ‘has to be shared’. I guess they all kinda lead different paths when it’s not singing so their work load really shouldn’t be affected…but it’ll obviously change some things. Coz to be honest, deep down, I actually worry about each member’s popularity and what will result of it when new people are added. It sounds superficial, I know, but that’s just what I feel.

But before I sound like I’m ‘anti SuJu C’ I should stop and explain why I’m anticipating their debut.

Firstly…Donghae and Kyu are in this group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woot ~~~ It’s no secret they’re my favourites (but it’s also no secret that I love all 13 boys). It’s just Hae wasn’t in the previous sub groups (neither was Siwon and Kibum…and Kibum is still not in any subgroup - poor boy) and he so totally deserved to be in one coz he is one of the better singers of SuJu. Hello, ‘I have a love’ remains one of my favourite SuJu performances. I can never get over that one fan who yelled out ‘Donghae ah’ and then loud cheers erupted ILU, young ELF (except you’re probably not young since you didn’t call out oppa and that is so totally rude if he really is your oppa).

Secondly, Hankyung as the leader IS AWESOME WITH A CAPITAL A. Hankyung is so lovely and all even more eyes will be on him now! I’m really looking fwd to seeing him as a leader because every time they do some Chinese interview he already kinda ‘transforms’ into a more confident and talkative guy, and I love that <3

Also…SuJu singing in Chinese = WIN! Their accents in U made me cringe a little but they’re Korean so I forgive them. I’m really wishing they’ll actually take on the language the way DBSK have taken on Japanese but I highly doubt that because Chinese is the hardest language to learn in the world, isn’t it? (Correct me if I’m wrong). However, as long as Hae + Kyu manage to take on a few phrases, me marrying them will be no problem at all

Now, onto these new members. It’s true the members of SJC have not been officially announced (and I’d so totally shoot myself if my guesses on who’s in it are completely wrong - but I highly doubt that due to my long and extensive research on this group thanks to Baidu forum and pinkandsparkly) but I’m going to pretend the members are Hankyung, Henry, Siwon, Hae, Kyu, Wook, Jumyuk.

I love these new guys - really, I do. Henry is awesome in every way because he is cute and plays the violin…while dancing! I would marry that guy. Maybe… LOL. With Jumyuk, it is true I still haven’t heard him sing (or talk, for that matter), but I think it’s really hard to not like a guy who looks cute like that…argh…I’m usually not this shallow, I swear, but I’m really trying to look on the bright side of things.

Though one thing that kinda annoys me is…why would you put two guys that look alike in the same group? Yes, Siwon and Jumyuk aren’t completely alike but as soon as I saw him I immediately associated him with Siwon’s handsome looks. IDK, it’d just be smarter to ’save’ him and put him in another group. I guess the real issue really is, why not save these new (and talented) trainees and put them together in a completely different group? This just goes back to me thinking that LSM is planning on using SuJu’s fame to promote Henry and Jumyuk (and whoever else has been rumoured to join).

Anyways, to finish off (because this post is probably really boring T_T), I’m so totally up for sub groups - because I LOVED (and still do) K.R.Y and SuJu T. It’s just, what bothers me is that ‘if you’re part of a sub group, you’re part of the main group‘. Nuh-uh…you can be part of a sub group and not be part of the main group. It’s possible, LSM, try it. And it also annoys me that K.R.Y and SuJu T basically don’t exist anymore (even tho SuJu T will be going Hollywood Bowl but they’re not releasing any new songs any time soon) so it makes me think that this SJC is just going to be around for a few months then its goodbye to them.

If that does happen, all those protests and riots and buying of shares and confusion and anger and tears and everything would’ve been for nothing.

So in case you actually care, I’m no longer a die hard ‘Only 13′ fan, despite the pic I have embedded. I just thought that was a really lovely pic and I guess I’ll miss the idea of ‘Only 13′ as soon as SJC ‘are born’ because I’ve heard/seen that phrase so many times it should be in the dictionary O_O But I can only hope for the best and maybe other Elflings will soon realise that the world is not going to end even if the number of members in SuJu exceed the population living on Antarctica - it already has, has it not? xP

Changmin’s puppy

Um…I’m not sure if that’s Changmin holding Mang Dong or not…but it’s definitely his puppy.

I’m just finding it extremely odd how in the pictures “Changmin”s face is cut off…so I’m assuming that isn’t Changmin. But whoever is holding the puppy looks really hot…from what I can see anyway

Actually, speaking of Changmin and his puppy I don’t actually have a single picture where it’s Changmin + Mang Dong…unless this one counts? :S

I want that…mousepad…or whatever it is. Is it not awesome??

I currently don’t own a mousepad. Why? I have no idea. But then again if I were to have a mousepad with Changmin’s face on it, I doubt I’d be cruel enough to actually put my mouse on it and ’scratch’ at his face like crazy…(which is what I do when my mouse suddenly looses ’signal’)

Though, once upon a time, I owned a mousepad with ‘BOY’Z’ on it (my first boyband obsession) and that mousepad was CRAP. It was plastic and had this massive bulky thingy to ‘rest’ your arm. But the thing was…the bulky thing kept moving around and it wasn’t actually comfortable T_T So, that totally sucked.

And this is way too much talk on mouse/mousepads than necessary O_O
