Confessions of a Crazy Obsessed Fan #1

Today, I finally received my YesAsia stuff - my MinSu TRICK singles + ZLY’s special edition album! YIPPEEE~~!! I have waited sooo long for this day because I still haven’t downloaded ZLY OR any of the TRICK singles. I guess you can either say I’m a bad fan for still not having heard their music or a really good fan for not downloading at all and fully supporting them That’s my way of showing my love for them xDD

Anyway, as soon as I came home the first thing I did was RIP OPEN MY CDS LMAO xD So after that I called on my mum and forced her to sit beside me in front of the telly to watch ZLY’s MVs Aren’t I such a great daughter? But hey, it’s okay, because I’ve totally influenced my mum and so she didn’t mind that much. What was difficult, however, was making sure she kept her eyes glued to the screen.

We watched the TIMELESS MVs first and when Junsu’s face popped up she goes “Ooh ooh, I know him!” and I replied with “Yes, you do. He’s from Dong Bang Shin Ki!” (when I made my mum watch Rising Sun Concert with me, I also made her memorise their names xD). Then after a few seconds she said “He’s MICKY!” T_______________T LOL. Well most fans get them mixed up so I forgave my mum ^^

After watching the first half she seemed really bored so I quickly explained to her the story and when the second half came on she said “Oh and now they’re thinking back to the past!” Haha, she can be so quick at times? xP

Then it was I will + Lovers. The first thing my mum said about Lee Yeon Hee was “She looks familiar!” So more “T_______T” from me and I said “They reused the same three actors”. Anyways we’re sitting and watching and I cry out “DIMPLE” and “HANKYUNG” and “MUM WATCH” every now and then BUT THEN came the dramatic bit. And my mum turned back to being slow =.=”

*Hankyung stabs Siwon and falls to the ground in shock*
Me: NOOOOOOOOOOO
Mum: why did he stab him?
Me: that man in the back changed the prop! See, I told you to watch it.
Mum: but why?
Me: as revenge, I guess

*LYH drags Hankyung from the scene*
Mum: so now he’s leaving after he stabbed him?
Me: Well yeah, the police are there
Mum: so the killer’s just gonna go?
Me: no like…Hankyung didn’t know the prop got changed but he’s gonna get arrested so LYH is taking him away. Get it?

*fast forward*

*LYH and Hankyung sitting before the table of food*
Me: omg omg omg omg omg
Mum: how come the girl isn’t eating? *doubtful* She doesn’t like this guy, does she?
Me: she does like this one
Mum: then why isn’t she eating? Oh, I know. She realises the one she likes is the other one?
Me: T_T no, mum, they’re just worried.

*Hankyung feeds LYH, Siwon walks in*
Me: *starts crying dramatically to seek attention*
Mum: ooh

*Hankyung saves Siwon*
Me: OMG OMG OMG *sudden thought of Hankyung dying makes me cry for real* {see, I’m such a pathetic fangirl - and this is the third time watching already}
Mum: *does not get the big deal* that guy wanted to kill both of them?
Me: T_T no mum. Didn’t you see? Hankyung took the bullet for Siwon. Just watch.

*Hankyung saves Siwon for the second time*
Me: NOOO MY HANKYUNG *bawls*
Mum: wow. So he saved him again and again.
Me: *continues to bawl*
Mum: *chuckles to self*

~The End~

I didn’t really get the reaction I was expecting from my mum. Lol. Which was quite disappointing. But then again my mum’s never really been as sensitive as me. She often complains that I get too emotional with the dramas I watch and that I become too attached to my celebrities. So true, so true.

Anyways I was so keen on making my mum watch the MVs that I still haven’t heard ZLY’s album. Ahahahahahaha. I’m seriously the most weirdest fan any celebrity can have.

Now, onto my TRICK singles. Originally me and my friend were going to buy all 5 singles (I’d have YunMinSu while she buys JaeChun). But then she changed her mind and decided she wanted AADBSK1 instead T_T so I ended up only buying MinSu. I wanted to buy the whole set so that I could align them together and make them look pretty but unfortunately, I do not own a money growing tree and I’m about to quit my job as well, so the sane fangirl in me decided against it.

Just heard Two Hearts and If… (I LOVE THEM <3333333333) Now…I need to get my hands on the other 3 singles. Hahahahahahahahaha.

Yeah, I don’t know.

A Millionaire’s First Love

Okay, so last night I rewatched this movie because after talking about Lee Yeon Hee with playmeagain and one of the writers of pretty boy power, I wanted to relive the sweet memories of ‘Eun Hwan’(Lee Yeon Hee) and ‘Jae Kyung’ (Hyun Bin).

I first found out about this movie when I tried looking for the MV to DBSK’s ‘One’ which btw is one of my all time favourite songs EVER. And I only came across a movie trailer. I didn’t bother watching it because at that stage I was still an ignorant Kpop fan where ‘DBSK’ were seen as everything and nothing else existed. But now I’m not like that. Clearly J

Later on when I was watching Rising Sun Concert on DVD I was anxiously waiting for the live performance of ‘One’. But before that came on the trailer for AMFL appeared on the screen with Insa playing and that was what sparked my interest. I had listened to Insa before but I didn’t really care about the movie xDD Haha. It all changed of course. I watched the trailer and thought ‘omg it’s my type of movie. It’s sad and it’s romantic. I must watch it’ Unfortunately all the romance bits in the trailer were shown in the movie as they were. I actually thought those sweet moments would extend longer but they didn’t =.=”

Apart from that though, the movie was really sweet. I rate a beautiful love story according to how much I cry and if I cry every time I watch it then it’s a really good movie. Lol. And I cried both times…so yeah.

But I’ll talk about the good and the bad so that you can judge for yourself whether it’s worth watching or not (if you haven’t already ^^)

The Good:

• The actors/acting – I love LYH. She’s one of the very few Korean female celebrities that I am actually attached to! I think this was the first movie she did and I think she did excellent! Her tears just flowed naturally and she could be cute and sad at the same time. (I’ll talk more on her another time because I’m planning to do a post JUST on her. Won’t that be exciting?). As for Hyun Bin, I’d only ever heard/seen him but not actually seen any of the shows that he’s done. But still, he’s good looking. And he can cry too. So I like that J LYH is also really compatible with HB. Either that or just natural sparks flying ^^
• The script – There are some movies with really bad scripts or the lines are WAY too corny. The overall plot of this movie was very cliché, but there was something about the way it was presented that made it all very sweet. I think it was the way the scenes were put together coz it went back in time a lot when HB’s childhood memories came back to him and stuff like that.
• The visual – no joke, I wanted to screencap every single shot of this movie. I didn’t end up doing so haha but every single shot is SO BEAUTIFUL!! Especially the scene in the rain ^^
• The Soundtrack – they play all 3 versions of Insa…it’s so awesome! And it just makes the scenes more touching with such bittersweet melody XD

The Bad:

• The first time I watched it I was confused. There were so many questions running through my head. But actually this was solved when I watched the movie the second time. I didn’t understand why LYH was at HB’s hotel at the beginning of the movie but then later on you find out that they actually knew each other when they were very young and she recognised him immediately. I also didn’t understand how HB fell in love with LYH over night but it turns out that he had loved her for so long. For a bday present he gave her these little ‘pills’ which had little messages inside and as she read them the film played some flashbacks of him ‘stalking’ and watching her from afar. Sweet to the max!
• The trailer gave me false impressions. As I said before I watched the trailer thinking the movie would have a lot of romantic stuff in it. But it was only like…2 minutes? There were other stuff of course but when they were playing with the hose and on the electronic scooter I wanted HB to whisper sweet nothings into LYH’s ear. But that’s okay because he said a lot of mushy stuff that made me feel all funny inside. I also thought they were going to get married!! But it turns out it was just for a performance – The Sound of Music. So the marriage was fake. Booo!!!

My favourite parts:

• When LYH stuck a flower in her head and asked ‘Am I pretty?’ then HB was like ‘did you take your pills this morning?’ except LYH does eat pills every day. Lol but I liked this scene because LYH just skips off happily and she looked really cute.
• When HB was about to send LYH an SMS only to find her standing by the wall beside him. Then he throws her leg warmers that he went and bought especially for her.
• When LYH wakes up in hospital to find HB in the bed beside her.
• When HB admits his love for LYH and kisses her in the rain
• When LYH moves in with HB and they sleep together on the bed but both are facing in the opposite direction and wiping their own tears.
• When LYH is crying in the toilet and HB barges in only to hold her tightly in his arms.
• When HB gives a little surprise party to LYH because he doesn’t know her real birthday.
• When LYH reads each of the messages HB wrote to her even though she was told to read one a day – but she was scared she would die before she finished reading them

‘When I’m with you at night, it’s as bright as if it were day.’

‘Now I believe that phrase, you can see with your eyes closed.’

• When HB switched his role in the play so that he could be the one to hold LYH’s hand in the end 

‘Do you know why couples close their eyes when they kiss?’

‘Because they’re so dazzled by each other.’

‘Even though it’s only a short moment, when my eyes are closed, I still miss you.’

• When they sat on the swing in each other’s arms and LYH wanted to sleep and it started to snow. 

‘I’m sleepy. Let me sleep for three minutes. Three minutes only.’
