The story of Mochi

Okay, I’ll admit, I was getting pretty lost when people on Soompi kept referring to Henry as “mochi“. I figured it was a nickname but couldn’t understand why because I just call him dumpling boy LMAO.

But for you curious people who are also too scared to ask exactly why Henry is called “mochi“, here is why

One time SuJu had finished filming and were in the carpark. Kangin had just gotten in the car, leaving the door open, while the other members were all seated already. Suddenly Henry appeared from the carpark exit and ran over to SuJu’s car, stopping in front of the open door and bowing at 90deg, he shouted out “안녕하세요!” (ahnyounghaeseyo).

A korean fan saw this, and because of this incident, she changed her mind about Henry. She said his Korean was terrible and so often when Korean fans yelled at him he had no idea what they were saying and was replying with “Thank you”. So the Korean fans gave him a nickname “dumpling” because of his white skin and fleshy cheeks - not Korean rice cake but in Japanese - “mochi“.

If you hear Korean fans saying “mochi“, then they’re talking about Henry.

And omg NOW I RMBR WHERE I’VE SEEN THE WORD MOCHI! It was in some HK ad with this massive white and round thing and it said “mochi” OMG!!! Lol.

Anyways, mochi, dumpling, little H, whatever, this guy is just too cute for words. I found an airport pic of him carrying his violin and I just “awwwwwwww-ed” at the screen ^^

SuJu @ China Airport = Disaster

As you all may or may not know, a few SuJu members were recently in Beijing (a few being majority of the group).

Anyways, I stumbled across this picture on Baidu…and…it just really sucks to have crazy fans.

Basically some Chinese fans have found these pictures and they’re ashamed of the Chinese ELFs. If that makes sense.
The writing in red says:

‘Who were the ones that said they had to protect our oppa’s?

When oppa’s are putting on a smile, do they feel heartbroken?

Don’t use your love as an excuse to hurt them!

Please, don’t embarass us Chinese ELFs’

At least some Chinese ELFs have sense. But honestly, where are all the security guards? Or anyone really that is actually there to assist Suju to arrive safely…to the plane? I can see one man holding on to Kyuhyun but is one man stronger or ’00s of fans?

And incase you can’t spot the SuJu members (because the crowd is so overwhelming) they’re the ones in the circles. And that’s not sarcasm because I had trouble identifying some of them. In the bottom row, second pic from the right, it’s Kyuhyun who’s ‘hiding’ behind Kangin. Far out, if Kyuhyun had been injured again, I would’ve gone and…be very angry at those fans. Not that I’m happy about it now…because I’m not. I’m quite peeved.

Do they not seem to realise the danger in harassing their idols like that? It’s exactly as what’s written on the pictures. Just because you love them it doesn’t mean you can do what you want without thinking of them! You can see Kangin still with a smile on his face but I doubt that smile means anything. Who is that smile for anyway? It’s for all those people who are endangering them there and then. And they’re still sticking their cameras in their faces!? Do they not have any sense or consideration for them?

They were at an event where you had opportunities to oogle at them…but now they’re flying back home and you can’t even give them a few minutes of peace!? Why don’t you all hop on the plane with them and continue to bug the hell out of them all the way home!? (And by you I’m referring to those fans in the pictures =.=”)

And to think that last time Donghae was ‘attacked/bashed’ whatever because he swore ‘at’ the fans!? Um, I’m pretty sure if you were there after a long day and getting pushed and shoved you’d do more than swear?

Blah I’m so annoyed I don’t even know what to say…because…I’m trying to sound as cool, calm and collected as possible. *smiles uneasily* and *failing miserably*

This just reminds me of all those car accidents DBSK have been involved in. If it wasn’t for crazy fans chasing them why would they need to ‘run’ off? And then injure themselves.

So clearly it’s not just Korean fans who are extreme. Everyone should just relax and stop acting like 2 yr olds fighting over the sand bucket…except this time they’re fighting to get to people…AND NONE OF THEM ARE 2 YR OLDs!!!

Argh!!!!!!!!! Why??????????

Why are fans so stupid and ignorant and selfish????????

And that’s a rhetorical question because I already know the answer to that.
